Nicola Farina

Nicola Farina is a Permanent Author at A Path for Europe. His areas of interest include EU and African economic, security and energy policies.

He is a dual degree graduate from Bocconi University and Sciences Po – Paris School of International Affairs. He completed both a MSc in Economics and Management of Government and International Organisations in Milan and a MSc in International Economic Policy in Paris with a concentration on African Studies. He also completed his Bachelor in Business and Economics at the University of Bologna, broadening his studies with two exchange experiences in France and in British Columbia, Canada.

Aside from his studies, he worked for a Foundation in India where he led research on labour policies and implementation gaps. Previously, he worked at the Italian Office of the Prime Minister in the Public Administration Department on transparency policies and for an Ethical Finance Boutique in London. During his MSc studies, he was both a consultant for 180 Degrees Consulting, university-based world leader in social consulting, and a researcher for a think tank focused on Educational policies with which he drafted a national law proposal and presented it in the Italian Parliament. Finally, during his Bachelor studies, he worked for both an NGO focused on economic empowerment in Africa and a logistic company exporting freights by air and sea. Nicola is fluent in English, French, and Italian, his native language. He has also a basic knowledge of German.
