Who we are looking for

A Path for Europe (PfEU) is not only a think tank but also an open and collaborative network of young scholars and professionals. We are constantly looking for excellent and inspiring individuals to join us in discussing the possibilities of the European Union. Since we are based in Berlin but home in Europe, our working language is English. PfEU was only recently founded in January 2020, which is why currently all positions are on a voluntary basis. Our aim is to receive public/private funding in order to compensate relevant positions in the future.

Research Associate

Our research associates are part of the core team of PfEU and on the forefront of our activities. Research associates conduct research and develop policy advice within one of our policy fields. They also develop research programmes, organise events and are encouraged to take part in the management of PfEU.

Permanent Author

As a Permanent Author you will be part of a working group focussing on one of our policy fields, publish research articles and commentaries. Ideally you have already gained experience in academic or journalistic writing and have a good understanding of the European Union.

Guest Author

Contribute with a single piece and share your thoughts on the future of the European Union and current developments in European Affairs. If you have written an article related to our policy fields you are invited to submit it to contact@pathforeurope.eu.

Volunteering and Future Hubs

PfEU is more than a think tank. We believe that the younger generation deserves more influence on EU’s future and therefore foster engagement with our Future Hubs. If you are interested in organising events and seminars or you have skills that we need (such as marketing or fundraising), do not hesitate to contact Anette Sonnbäck.

HR and Fundraising Assistant

We are looking for young individuals with an interest in EU affairs and HR/fundraising. You will either support the management in recruitment and people matters (HR), or  identifying research and project grants, and similar financial sources (fundraising).

Internships

Unfortunately, we cannot provide any paid internships at the moment but we are working hard to find solutions for those who would like to work with us for a short period and gain experience in an innovative think tank environment. Find out more by contacting Oliver Pollakowsky.
