Festus Ofori-Tettey

Intern

Festus Ofori-Tettey is an intern at Path for Europe. His areas of interest are notably media-technology regulation, cultural policy, and applied data in policy research.

Festus is a final year DAAD Helmut-Schmidt scholar at the Willy-Brandt School of Public Policy, University of Erfurt. His bachelor studies was in Administration (Finance and Accounting) at the University of Ghana. Festus has prior market and media research experience at Ipsos, where his team’s alcoholic brands advertising report was used by the local regulator, Ghana Standards Authority and global beverage brand, Diageo to enforce and ensure compliance of time-bound alcohol advertising regulations, respectively. Previously, he also worked as the Digital Innovations Coordinator for mobile network operator, Millicom (Tigo) in Ghana. Festus also interned at Google where he supported the YouTube team during negotiations with the local regulator and collection societies for the commercial launch of YouTube in Ghana.

Festus is fluent in English, Akan and Ga, and is conversationally fluent in German. He is also proficient in R data language.
