Devvrat Singh Shekhawat is an intern at A Path for Europe. His areas of interest include EU governance, EU law, climate change and energy transition, democracy, and fundamental rights, digitalization, EU-India relations, and European policy areas primarily.

He is currently completing his Master’s Degree from Willy-Brandt School of Public Policy, University of Erfurt with specializations in International Political Economy and European Public Policy. Devvrat holds a Bachelors in Policy Sciences and Law (Honours) from India with a specialization in commercial, corporate, business laws. He is an experienced research and legal consulting professional with a demonstrated history of working for international clients from multiple industries ranging from the automobile, defense, healthcare, mining, and hospitality sector. He is skilled in legal writing, corporate law advisory, regulatory affairs, advocacy and liaison with government, policy consultancy, and business development. He is also a certified advocate licensed to practice law in India.

He is a native speaker in Hindi, fluent in English, and has knowledge of German.
