Antonina Kahonzi

Antonina Kahonzi is A Path for Europe’s fundraising manager. Her areas of interest include International Relations, Diplomacy and Foreign Policy, Global Development, Migration, Gender, Social Empowerment and Social Security.

Antonina is in her final year pursuing a Masters Program in Public Policy at the Willy Brandt School of Public Policy at the University of Erfurt with a focus on Public, Non-Profit Management and International Affairs, Cooperation and Development. Previously, she graduated with a Bachelors of Arts degree in International Relations at the United States International University-Africa.

She is currently a Diaspora and External Affairs Consultant with the African Youth for Development Commission (AYDEC)-Kenya working to develop an agenda of #TheAfricaWeWant especially among the youth in Kenya. She has had a vast experience working as an Intern, Volunteer and Attaché with various government ministries in Kenya such as; the State Department of Gender Affairs, Ministry of East African Community and Regional Development previously known as State Department of East African Community Integration and lastly the State Department of Social Protection in order to better understand how government programs and policies are implemented and executed in order to reach the development agendas of the country. Apart from her studies and career, Antonina continues to offer young girls and boys mentorship in Kenya. Antonina is fluent in English, Swahili and has basic knowledge of German.
